king james videoman falsehood on the doctrines of grace

in a video called calvinism the false gospel  -- the man makes a claim of being an ex calvinist and gives an inadequate defination of what we believe by claiming "christ only died for the sins of some men" which is not even close since he died for all of the chosen one in him

he utilises 3 texts to try and disprove the doctrines of grace, but fails on account of not reading in context on the passages

1 . 1 corinthians 15 :1 -4

I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you— unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,  that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures

upon reading this text he reads it then emphesis' on vs 3 -4 with focus on key terms "our sins but completely misses the point .. this is not a text of scripture that proves universal atonement -- it is infact a reference to the scriptural truth of the death by crucifixion and the resurrection being the fulfilment of the totality of the scriptures

hence the use of  "For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received" and of  "in accordance with the Scriptures" -- this shows that what paul was teaching and preacing on had a scriptural background .. and we can consider act 17 : 10 -12 as a good point in this discussion since it shows some of the fundamental elements of this passage
"The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived they went into the Jewish synagogue.  Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.   Many of them therefore believed, with not a few Greek women of high standing as well as men"

so the main point is that the truths that the apostle were correct and in line with scriptural evidences -- and not about who would be saved or how many this would encompass

2 -- 1 john 2 :2

"He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world"

he assumes that world means all people every where .. and says that this means that all people will be saved

first of all .. this is eisegesis .. read a belief or tradion in to the text and assuming it is grounds for the belief, rather than exegesis allowing context to define the use of the terms present -- so here is the context vs 1 -6

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him,  but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked

here we see it in more fuller context than what he gave .. this like the lousy exegetical bases on john 3 we hear so often .. that world mean all people .. when context is allowed to enter into the equasion we find

a -- the terms world refers to particlur groups of believers from the time of john till now .. and not those who are not in the fath at all ..

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.

are we to assume on the basis of every one being saved ... that these false christ that john refers to later in the same chapter are going to be saved dispite the fact they dont truly believe and posibly never will

also note that in 1 john 2 : 15 -17 ... ther is a est of true discipleship

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world— the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life[c]—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever

can those who love the world as we are told here, that do not love the father or have his love in them .. also on the same logic besaved .... if Jesus came to save the world
this is the question that needs to be address by these people .... does world always refer to all people or can it refer to the chosen people

b --- the passage goes on to out line a similar theme of john 3 :18 -- "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God"  in the following words  "Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him,  but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected".

here we note a simialr meaning that those who are condemn because they do not believe, like wise those who do not follow his commands , do not have the love of God in them  .. therefore are these people going to be saved dispite they have no love in them

so in context these first 2 passage do not meet the supposed requirements of the new beliefs of this man
