addendum
in this final part to this examination we are going to be looking at some of the claims that were made which did not have no real connection to the topic they were attached too, or supposedly trying to refute ... which by and largely did not even come close to doing what they were attempting to achieve
which shows us two important fact to bare in mind
A) the doctrines of grace are stronger than what they believe to be based on the positions being unrefuted, and the truth that are laid out through thorough exegetical studies on the key texts and secondary texts that establish these foundational truths
B) when we actually focus on the issues that are under discussion .. the key texts, and how they are by and large ignored by the proponents, and when the attacks are not founded on the same principals that the doctrines are ... this is called an unbalanced scale .. an unjust move
bare in mind that the facts are clear for one side on the issues, and still the opposition can not provide a fair balanced refutation as we have seen in the previous 5 articles
the first statement to consider
1 --- The Bible teaches Jesus atoning blood makes it possible for all to be saved. All who are willing to come to Him in obedience to be saved. God loved the world, God gave His son for the sins of the world, and whosoever will believe and obey Him will have eternal life – John 3:16-17
Thank God, that Jesus blood is not limited, but is available for all who will accept it
here we have a useful place to make a start upon he states "the bible teaches Jesus' atoning blood makes it possible for all to be saved"
this is a very interesting statement indeed, and how does one go about to establish this ideal ... by saying this "All who are willing to come to Him in obedience to be saved"where do we find this statement .. there is none at all, not even in the one to used
let us introduce a few text that demonstrate this possibility ideal is nothing more than a tradition being thrown upon the text of scriptures
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to son ship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will ----Ephesians 1 :4-5, 11
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us --- 1 john 1 :7 -10
but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. --- Hebrews 7 :24 -25

here are a few examples where the blood of Christ is mentioned in them and what is the purpose of it is it "to make people savable" or as it actually state to truly save those whom it made to purify ... the fact is the only possibility in this is that the tradition based arminian will definitely be lost
the bible states the atonement as a secured reality not a mere possibility
and the only "All who are willing to come to Him in obedience to be saved" that the bible
mentions is the obedience that nice lives out as mentions is the obedience that nice lives out as an already saved believer, so this statement is false and your not saved based on your willingness or your obedience but based on the fact that the father chose you in Christ
the next interesting statement is "God loved the world, God gave His son for the sins of the world, and whosoever will believe and obey Him will have eternal life – John 3 :16 -17"
this is a really interesting translation .. as it contains some very unscriptural word in the context cited
a) there is no "for the sins of the world" though the gospel implies this in many other places, but we should never add to the word of God
b) then this "and obey" is also not found in the text
the text actually says in the Greek "for God so loved the world that he gave his unique son that the believing one shall not perish but have eternal life"
every translation has to compared to be the manuscripts of the originals
by this " Thank God, that Jesus blood is not limited, but is available for all who will accept it" .. you have shown that you do not understand the doctrine of limited atonement ... the blood was given to atone for those in Christ , not everyone and it actually saves them this is the biblical atonement
and you have revealed that you personal belief contradict the arminian beliefs which state the blood of Christ saves mo one in and of itself
the next statement to consider
2 --- Furthermore, 2 Peter 1:19-21 instructs that holy men of God were “move by”, (phero) the Holy Spirit to speak and write the things of God in the Holy scriptures. Therefore, the Holy Spirit and the Word of God work together in the conversion of sinners.
this statement was made in regards to irresistible grace that state that before man can come to Christ God himself must do a divine act called regeneration ... this in effect is a revitalisation if i can use the word to state that a man who is spiritually dead caused by sin .. is renewed in the work of the spirit to have a new found love in Christ
now where this gentlemen has made the error is in two different areas ... the brief statement i just made defines the doctrinal truth of irresistible Grace, or as i prefer it "sovereign regeneration" but the point that the writer is referring to is the inspiration of the holy spirit .. certain men were coursed by the holy spirit to communicate God truths fr us ... the bible
net we have a fundamental misunderstanding in this "Therefore, the Holy Spirit and the Word of God work together in the conversion of sinners."
no Calvinist has ever denied the role of the word and the spirit in bringing the elect to salvation
the third statement is this one
3 --- Fourthly, the Bible abundantly teaches that you have the choice to obey Jesus and have life or disobey Him and have death, the choice is yours - John 3:36; Joshua 24:15; Acts 2:38-47
here my comments will be restricted to the old testament passage .. Joshua 24 :15 as this is a common verse thrown out without any thought on the passage
14 “Now, therefore, fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. 15 If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” 16 The people answered and said, “Far be it from us that we should forsake the Lord to serve other gods; 17 for the Lord our God is He who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and who did these great signs in our sight and preserved us through all the way in which we went and among all the peoples through whose midst we passed. 18 The Lord drove out from before us all the peoples, even the Amorites who lived in the land. We also will serve the Lord, for He is our God.” 19 Then Joshua said to the people, “You will not be able to serve the Lord, for He is a holy God. He is a jealous God; He will not forgive your transgression or your sins. 20 If you forsake the Lord and serve foreign gods, then He will turn and do you harm and consume you after He has done good to you.” 21 The people said to Joshua, “No, but we will serve the Lord.” 22 Joshua said to the people, “You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen for yourselves the Lord, to serve Him.” And they said, “We are witnesses.” 23 “Now therefore, put away the foreign gods which are in your midst, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.” 24 The people said to Joshua, “We will serve the Lord our God and we will obey His voice.” 25 So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and made for them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem. 26 And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God; and he took a large stone and set it up there under the oak that was by the sanctuary of the Lord. 27 Joshua said to all the people, “Behold, this stone shall be for a witness against us, for it has heard all the words of the Lord which He spoke to us; thus it shall be for a witness against you, so that you do not deny your God.” 28 Then Joshua dismissed the people, each to his inheritance.
here is the text in full what do we learn from it ... one main thing this is solely a passage about the Jews and their idolatry ... Gods word has recorded Joshua giving them a choice, no doubt .. but how does this apply to us today it quite simply does not have any baring .. do Christians ever need this type of choice, or are arminian really serving false gods
the next thing to note is the full verse is never quoted to see this .... "if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord"
note that Joshua includes himself in the list and says he and his own will worship the lord .. this indicates that this is not directly from God but was recorded through divine inspiration
CONCLUSION
in this set of rebuttals have provided my own rebuttal to all points raised with the exception of one or two, I have provided extensive exegesis on any texts raised and some times a few points, this was in aid to reveal that the writer needs more study on key issues...
it is almost unreal how they think that by quoting a few select scripture with no exegesis or understanding of the passages they mutilate to try provide a flawed rebuttal
