how to misrpresent the doctrines of grace part 1

in this set of articles I want to go through an article on the doctrines of grace where the claim is made "refuted by one verse 1 john 4 :1" which strangely never  gets touched in the article ... but note these words

"false teachers, typically twist and take scriptures out of proper content for their own destructive purposes, and Calvinism is no different"

these words speaks volumes about the kind of ideas being communicated n the persons understanding of the doctrines, claiming it is a false doctrine but yet not demonstrating this is the case  and on this point we move onto the first doctrine

Total Hereditary Depravity, is a false doctrine that states that:
1. All of humanity is born guilty of sin. Because we inherit the "original sin" of Adam and Eve, we fall into God’s condemnation from birth.
2. Since we are born in sin and have a sinful or depraved nature, we are incapable of doing anything to ultimately please God in regard to salvation.
3. Therefore, in this false teaching, God alone must totally take all the initiative in your salvation from beginning to end.
False teachers, typically twist and take scriptures out of proper content for their own destructive purposes, and Calvinism is no different. Proponents of Total Hereditary Depravity frequently use Psalm 51:5 and Psalm 58:3 to incorrectly assert we are all born sinners.
However, the scripture, in context, teaches that David was born into a sinful world, and that the wicked are estranged from the womb.

here is the persons understanding of the doctrine of "total depravity" but what this lacks in understanding, makes up in a matter of substance of refutation, very poor refutation at best  and at worst there is none provided on key passages
such a claim as the above one shows a lack of understanding .. a) context, b) other important passages. which reveal this truth of all men being born depraved
first .of the 2 passages mention 1 in context speaks of Davids sin from birth, the other passage however is universal .... but this could be seen as a universal tone, since why is it that David is alone in this
what about the context of Isa 6 where Isaiah confesses not just his sin but that of the whole of Israel
second .. this is further seen as a universal understanding when we consider psalms 14 consider the words
The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good.
The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God.
it is very clear from these example that the person behind the article does not really understand that the bible is clear on these matters as they are on others

 1. All of humanity is born guilty of sin. Because we inherit the "original sin" of Adam and Eve, we fall into God’s condemnation from birth.
2. Since we are born in sin and have a sinful or depraved nature, we are incapable of doing anything to ultimately please God in regard to salvation.
3. Therefore, in this false teaching, God alone must totally take all the initiative in your salvation from beginning to end.

consider for the moment what the implication of this statement really implies that man can indeed come to God alone .. this is the indication from the idea that what we Calvinist believe is false ... but what evidence is given to substantiated such a claim

now let us find out what this article offers instead

in Romans 3:23, the Bible teaches all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. This (sin) occurs when one transgresses the law of God - 1 John 3:4.
Therefore, sin is not hereditary and it is not passed on through genetics or birth.
Furthermore, in Ezekiel 18:19-20, the Spirit of God affirms that the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, and the father shall not bear the iniquity of the son.
Each person has the responsibility of their own sin when they transgress God’s law.
In Matthew 18:1-4, Jesus answered the question, "who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?", by admonishing them to be converted like little children.
If a baby is born a sinner, why did Jesus encourage his disciples to be like little children?
Let us be encouraged to understand and teach the truth of the Bible concerning when you become a sinner and expose the error of Calvinism that those who follow it might be converted to the truth – James 5:19-20

here are a list of passage which he believes refutes Calvinism first doctrine, yet we see nothing has yet marked the doctrine
whilst  it maybe true that "in Romans 3:23, the Bible teaches all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. This (sin) occurs when one transgresses the law of God - 1 John 3:4. ... this is a slight misrepresentation of our belief ...

we see that the fact is everyone is effected spiritually by the fall and birth of sin ... the sin nature is then seen as a result of it .. it is something that man born with .. the inclination and drive to sin
Ezekiel 18 is about personal responsibility which means Gods holds man accountable for his actions .. this in no way destroys Calvinism
since as we believe God holds every believer accountable in Christ, and the disbeliever accountable to Gods judgement
If a baby is born a sinner, why did Jesus encourage his disciples to be like little children?
first, the question misses the point, the point for this is that his follows have to be seen as children willing to learn about God from the only one who truly knows him, and not assume they have full understanding like the self righteous Jews
second, we are to be 24 /7 dependant on Gods word and spirit for spiritual growth .. without such a thing we wont be in Christ
Let us be encouraged to understand and teach the truth of the Bible concerning when you become a sinner and expose the error of Calvinism that those who follow it might be converted to the truth – James 5:19-20
yes we agree on learning and being encouraged, but a view such as this is anti biblical and anti truth .. meaning it is false from the get go,
first it fails to address the fact that everyone who is a human like David was born a sinner, and needs to be supernaturally renewed to even be considered worthy in Gods sight, and they also need to recognise that sin in such manner that they are brought to see it as evil as in Isaiah's case in Isaiah 6
as of yet we see nothing but false hood being committed in this article .. there is no reason to dismiss something on such weak understanding
one of my fave passages in the old testament is in Isaiah 59 which emphasises the key issues of depravity of and the inability  of man in coming to God verses 9 -20
we have to see that his mans arminianism is the false belief that in reality is contradicting the biblical evidences
