in all false ideologies they will make many claims on different issues and like no other jehovah witness have made numerous false prophecies and this makes them a false prophecy organisation and in this watch tower booklet under the jesus section they claim he became a king in 19 14
but like all false prophecies given by all kinds of people groups they come up with amazing ways to defend the indefensible -- often a very unbiblical stance, if counted by true christians in the every day setting -- the claim "he return invisably and not physically
the claim in the booklet
he became a king in 1914 -- and shortly afterwards he over - threw satan and demons (revelation 12 :7 -10, 12) since then man kinds troubles have severly increased -- earth qaukes, famines and so forth, wars and loneliness are a sign in the last days (2 timothy 3 :1-5) all who want to benefit should learn how to become a follower of CHRIST JESUS -- the king
ANSWER
false prophecies are a sign that the very fact false ideologies have nothing concrete to stand upon this 1914 date was proven false -- if he became a king after this supposed return .. what about all the subsequent return date did become a king again in 1975
the biblical evidence shows that this simply untrue -- as the messiah these offices were symatanious in nature as far as the eternal side is concerned .. but they have as far as the prophet and preist a time element .. for instance he wont come back as a prophet, but a king who reigns -- but this is an eternal duration since this was from the time he went up into heaven -- his pristly work had a time element since he had to die a real death with eternal measures
are we seriously being told that a false ideology can provide a clear manner in which a christian can live when it dishonour Jesus christ and the word of God -- the bible is sufficient in all it teaches for a believer to be secure -- there is no need for addition.. no matter what it might be
now a biblical word for all those who claim to have knowledge of when Christ will return .. and yes i believe he will
But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son,[b] but the Father only. 37 For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, 39 and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left
So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” 9 And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. 10 And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, 11 and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven
these passages make it explicitly clear that man by no means .. can not and should not proclaim to know the return of christ in any manner -- the week, day or the year / the decade / the century -- the following words make it clear .. "So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority" -- this very vital as it exposes all attempts
so we see in this manner that christ is addressing the issue of his return .. and he says it is not for us to know .. althought we must be aware .. it is not our place to communicate this factalso note the following point mentioned by the angels "two men stood by them in white robes, 11 and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven" .. he return will be in the same manner as his leaving -- physical
so jehovahs are wrong on two accounts .. when he returns and how he returns -- now for the passages utilized in this section
1 -- revelations 12 : 7 -10, 12
Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world— he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God --- Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short
before we speak to this passage it is alarming how the jehovah's and rome share this passage for different manner to prove an unfounded claim .... rome is in the term women and mary, here i am not entirely certian of how this is being used but i believe has to do with the fight between the good angels and the demons -- and the connection of michael and Jesus
which in both cases it is a false assumption
the biblical interpretation of this passage is as follows and reveals some interesting points
1 --- the women could represent eve or israel
2 --- obviously the child is the Lord jesus christ
as this is on jehovah witness' and their belief that michael became Jesus -- we need to fully understand that when they say "he threw satan out" they mean jesus (michael) did this yet this is not the biblical teaching a false reading of the passage
A -- we note that the baby or child is revealed as the lord and not the angel(no reasonable explanation is offered just an assumption)
B -- michael and his angels fought to over throw satan and his demons
* the women could be israel in the time moses and represent all the troubling encounters
* we also see that the child anf the angel were discribed as being from the same period but not the same person
while i agree that all the trouble could be linked .. it does not nessacarily mean it is .... i dont agree that it was Jesus who threw out satan
next passage utilised by the watch tower -- is 2 timothy 3 :1 -5
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
this is a very interesting text for them to use to prove this doctrine of theirs .. because if we really think what about what they teach in the pamplet / booklet .. as Jesus being the ideal ruler ... they are doing 2 thing seeking the pleasure of the world and not God, and also acting godly but denying its power
they deny christs deity therefore making the bible a false book, and also making the atonement essentially useless .. as man can not atone for others sin, it take God himself
and by denying the physical resurrection they are denying that christ died physically .. and also think what that does to the atonement
