Exploring and exposing jan boshoff part 3

in this conclusion on this false teacher Jan boshoff i will go through one video which he state some interesting things ... i will work through

Jan's statement

most believers don't get it, they don't have salvation, they don't have Jesus.. salvation is knowing the father .. but you have to get to know Jesus Christ for real .. you fall on your knees and cry out to him and invite him into your life .. you cry out to him and he comes into your heart  .. regenerates you, makes you a new person and you know that you know that Jesus is alive

Answer

this may seem like its in line with the bible and for the most part it is but lies, a few points that need to be shown as false

1) "most believers don't get it, they don't have salvation" ....

now lets consider this in full and realise that the problem is not with most believers as they have full assurance of salvation in Christ our lord

we must consider a few things .....

a) we believers as you put it are biblical and we are under its instruction as Christ himself made clear all scripture testifies to him ---
b) for Jan boshoff where is the truth of this promise and how can he be sure of his assurance
-- if once he said no man can be saved in this world ... "i am not saved, you are not saved"

we must really consider this as it places Jan in the "believers" sect he so condemns

2) "and invite him into your life .. you cry out to him and he comes into your heart  .. regenerates you, makes you a new person"

now lets consider these things carefully  as this one statement makes it easy to determine what he believes

a)  "and invite him into your life" ... where does he get this from and what does this mean

we are humans with sin in our hearts and can not be the centre of what God is about in other words we are not the ones who control Christs actions through our wiliness
in fact the father calls us, draws us through the spirit unto faith in Christ (more on this in point b) we become his people

this saying is very arminianistic / very evangelical  in nature and very determinative of a human approach ...
the bible does not support this false ideal

b) "regenerates you, makes you a new person"

this new person is not biblically correct it is a new creature .. one who is regenerated and is cleansed ... the new birth / born of the spirit of God by his grace -- to true saving faith in Christ Jesus

this is a two part process ... you are saved the action and it is a continual process through the believers life
this man does not know the basics of this as he is not a spirit born believer

(for more on the subject of regeneration plz check on the article addressing the comment of Dave hunt on regeneration on my blog )

Jan's statement

its about a relationship with Jesus .. its not about reading the bible, going to church or having fellowship its about being with Jesus .. because Jesus brings you into the house of the father  makes a child of God ... you ask him to guide you and you can be please to God the father

have you met Jesus ... have you been made new ... been born again that you know : i am a child of God , that you know i have the father

Answer

first of all we need to note is that this  message has a deceptive means about it in the following words ... "its about a relationship with Jesus .. its not about reading the bible, going to church or having fellowship its about being with Jesus"

the deception lies in the contradictory motive of the fact that this relationship with Jesus as he puts it, then denies the biblical view of how this is possible ... he denies the church and fellow ship .. which are fundamental to Christ role in the church ... he left us the bible as the means of knowing Gods will, he formed the church to build us as a unit, and fellow ship so we can get closer to Christ in our time

yet on his video he calls for fellowship with him and he utilise the bible as means of proving his falsehood -- which is contradictory
either these things are not to made use of .. or they are .. do not be inconsistent in your approach .. by banishing the use of such thing then go and carry them out

the question is : what Jesus are you promoting ... ?

also consider these terminology ... "because Jesus brings you into the house of the father  makes a child of God

a ... it is biblical

b -- he is a false christian due to his constant use of biblical term and denying the bible in the process

next we need to note the following words "have you met Jesus ... have you been made new ... been born again that you know : i am a child of God , that you know i have the father"

where does he get the ideal of being born again, being made a new .... not from his visions or his own intellect
it comes directly from Gods word -- the bible ....
so much for his usual banter of the bible not being the word of God and that we don't need to use it -- he has proven himself to be unreliable in his messages

he claims that there is only one Jesus ... in another video

true enough ... there only one true Jesus .. the son of God .... but there many false Christs
how does he not know its is not one of those Christs

1 --- the Jehovah witness Jesus .. who is and was an angel
2 -- the Mormon Jesus -- who is the brother of Lucifer / Satan
3 -- the prophet Isa .. the Muslim Jesus who is not the son of God
4 -- the spiritual enlighten, good teacher Jesus that many other faith belief in
5 -- then there is the Jesus of Jan boshoffs imagination
